Well, I suppose this is my good bye to my silly little depressed Wizened who decided life was too much on Saturday night and so left it.

I have enjoyed the PC over the past couple of years,  and have loved all the RP I have got from it and everyone who has RP'd with her. So thanks to everyone.

I will admit that today, now Im actually cleaning up everything I am crying vast amounts over what I ddi, but I do think that it was appropriate and something that has been on its way since Moorcroft died. A girl with no coping mechanisms is never going to survive being asked to go with her heart to the Underworld.

I do kinda like the fact that Macs contract useage over the weekend involved Brownies Boon to write Suicide notes and Animation so she could actually pull of the act. It amuses me in a  sick way.

Hmm, this is a scene leading to a suicide so if you have issues with that, dont read.

Saffron hummed to herself as she turned the key in the lock of her flat. She was tired. It had been a long and busy weekend and she'd much rather have been back at Jonathan's place but knew she had to come back to Inverness because of work and Freehold commitments.

She put the kettle on for a cuppa while she booted the laptop up. She would just check to see if there was anything she could help anyone with before she collapsed into bed.

"That odd..." she thought, staring at the computer. "A message from Jon but he not text me."

Tears began to pour down her cheeks as she read the short message.

The Spring Courtier in her understood about following desires. The woman didn't care about that.

She grabbed her phone and sent a quick text to China. Then Saffron began to reach for the box of tissues as her heart broke over Jon leaving her. She had spent the weekend worrying about him, convinced that he was going to die.

Instead he had resolved to travel the world.

As she dissolved into sobbing, one thought crossed Saffron's mind.

"Why Jon not ask me to go with him?"

China arrived home and went about her normal activities - unpacking clothes into the wash basket; putting on the kettle and flicking on the TV. She needed time to assimilate what the weekend had brought from the joy of seeing Scarlet (and getting his blessing on her relationship with Arthur) to the deep sorrow of Mac shooting herself. Nyght had responded to her text and was apparently finding comfort with someone else; which meant she had time to break down now.

She looked at her phone. Mails from colleagues; a mail from a patient canceling their appointment; and several random adverts.

And then the mail from Breeds. China stared at it; and nearly dropped her phone as it bleeped with a text message.

She read it and sighed.

"Bloody blasted Breeds..." she swore. She sent a swift text to Arthur; grabbed her handbag and her keys and sped out into the night.

She arrived on Saffron's doorstep with a bag of shopping - tissues, wine, ice cream - and a gentle smile. She dumped the shopping and enveloped Saffron in a hug.

One day she'd break down over Mac and Scarlet. But not right now. Right now Saffron needed her more.
