There's an old joke: The way to a man's heart is through his stomach.
Not true, of course; or not the only truth. There are many ways to a man's heart, and besides the heart is one of the less efficient targets; better to go for the eyes, the throat or the groin in most instances.
Sometimes I tell people that killing to me is a kind of music, but not often. Besides the fact that anyone who knows me should already realise that, if give an impression that I find the activity somehow beautiful. It isn't. Killing is a dissonance in the harmony of the universe, every time. However we shape fate to bring about a death in a way that seems natural, even inevitable, it is dischordant; a strident note in the universal symphony.
Then again, even dischordance has its place in the symphony. Sometimes, a note of disharmony is needed.
The art lies in knowing when to strike that note, and when to seek harmony.
