(Forsaken) Freaky Friday (Isabelle/Eve)
Feb. 7th, 2011 04:43 pmThe day had started inauspiciously.
Admittedly, "put some fucking clothes on!" was not the best thing to scream to your werewolf brother when you find yourself naked (in someone else's body, small favour) in bed with him. Luckily, my family had the sense to use mercy gems.
After some traumatised invective, I locked herself in the unfamiliar bathroom and stared in the mirror. Fucking Eve Whatts. What had she gotten up to that caused this? I prodded at the high cheekbones under skin with that youthful glow, glowering at my reflection. I was pretty sure I'd never been this young.
Once I'd booted Nell out the door (citing 'female problems' which was sort of true), I scoured the flat for ritual paraphenalia. Nothing.
So how had this happened?
Next I rang Arthur. Bless that man, he believed me.
Blowing off her classes for what certainly wasn't the first time, I made a beeline for Starbucks. If I - or she - smoked, I'd have had a whole pack while I waited for Arthur to show. As it was, I just drank coffee and bounced my knee impatiently. There was a disturbing amount of energy in me. Her, I mean.
I hope this isn't permanent.
Shit, what if it's permanent?
The thought just drove like a steam train through my mind as Arthur walked in the door.
In hindsight, I probably shouldn't have kissed him in public like that.
Luckily, though, the world apparently had a limit on screwing me over, and nobody charged in and ripped us to shreds. So we talked.
And talked.
And talked.
When they kicked us out, we had plans - short term, and worst case long term.
The only problem was, now I needed to talk to her...
