So, two writing challenges in one. You have until the beginning of March to do either.
They are as follows:
January.
This was suggested to me by someone, and I'm not too proud to steal an idea. The theme for January is 'endings'. We all, after all, get attached to our characters. We want them to keep going, but every story has an ending. So write your own ending. It can be the ending you'd like, the ending you fear, or the ending you expect. It could be character death, or them riding off into the sunset. It can even be a write up of an old character's end, if you want. The only requirement is that it has to be an ending.
February.
As it's my birthday, I did consider making February 'write things about Sally's characters' month, but decided that upon reflection, that was unfair. However, I will note that I consider prose featuring my PCs to be a perfectly lovely birthday present and I'm sure that lots of you can do that. February also contains Valentine's Day, but I don't think this comm needs any more stories of romantic love. I am, therefore, going to ask you all to write about non-romantic love. Any other kind of love is fine - sisterly, brotherly, parental, friendship, or even devotion to a cause. I just want it to be a story about a kind of love or passion.
