Last Thoughts (Lost - Velvet)

((Just a piece of fun as a parting nod to a now deceased character. RIP Velvet you crazy, crazy lunatic. I had a lot of fun playing her and it was an appropriate ending to her story so I cannot really complain. Thanks to all I interacted with, that was great :) ))



"How would you like to die?" Mr Sleete asked, his voice cold, but then it always was.

Velvet thought for a long moment and was tempted to ask for torture, it was a more pleasant way to go after all and the cruel part of her liked the idea of the havoc it would cause to anyone who decided to watch. This wasn't really the time and he wasn't Bane and so she thought better of it. "I don't care, whatever you like."

"Shot to the head then. In the eyes or the back of the head?" He responded in the same calm fashion.

She quirked a slight smile. "Whatever works for you."

Mr Sleete nodded in response and started to raise his pistol. Part of Velvet whimpered in terror, but she ignored that voice as she always did. The girl long lost inside of her didn't have much place anymore.

"Any final words?"

Velvet laughed slightly, "Not really. Not like anyone's going to miss me." She smiles slightly as the gun moved closer. 'Fuck you Sokol' she thought to herself, 'I get to see her first...'

The gun fired and she fell to the ground, all thoughts fled. She was free of everything now.

Gotta say, I find it a great pity that one session where we came across each other in play was the one where she received a bullet to the back of the head. Seems like a level headed utilitarian prepared to do what it takes, but with a rather different idea of what that was to my own character. Could of made for some interesting sessions, as it was they met in time for him to watch Mr. Sleete execute her. Ah well.
