[Lost] Stupidity should be painful

She's sitting in front of the great fireplace in the Institute of Fear and Magic, the fire is warm and comfortable. Mr Mistopheles is sleeping on a pillow happily while Kara goes through every book she can find on computers, and her notes on hacking, in the hope of being able to stop that MKI artificial intelligence weapon.

Screams of panic and Mimenso laughing wake up the hedgecat and draw her attention. Mist growls loudly and then bolts to safety and she stands, autumn winds wrapping herself around her even though she is indoors, turning she looks straight in the eye of a black eyed, misty sharp toothed ghost standing next to Mimenso.

He seems thouroughly pleased with himself, announcing happily "this is Thea, she's a skinrider that's coming to live here!".
Thea grins, an thouroughly unpleasant sight that would scare a lesser creature than a member of the Autumn Court, and then sods off, hunting hobgoblins.

Mimenso decides to make matters worse by telling her all about the ghost possessing things at Winter's Tears stronghold, having come from the MKI where she was bored. And how he took her home, whilst clearly not having a damn clue about how one takes care of skinriders in the first place.
She smiles and nods, thinking to herself that the combined IQ of the place only remains above average because of the presence of herself, her sister and the White Lady before excusing herself politely to go to her laptop and sending missive to her friend Noor. Realising full well that it's up to them to sort _this_ special kind of mess.
