Challenge: Musings on another PC who is probably not aware how yours really feels.

I am not a babbler.

Despite my Clan's stereotype, I am - and have always been - a quick thinker and guarded speaker. In my occupation, you cannot misstep, and it is important to know what you are saying.

And yet here I find myself, face to face with my old master, saying every useless and silly word that comes into my stupid animal brain. Why did I pick that stupid picture of Zeus and Antiope? Now that I'm trying to explain, it just sounds insipid. It doesn't represent me at all. It's blatantly - and blatantly to him too, I can tell - sensationalist. And sensationalism is so tedious. Look at him, trying not to show scorn.

I try to regain ground by showing my observations of the thematic similarities of the art here. But as I note that so many are falls from grace, I remember: he's a member of the Lancea Sanctum now. My tongue stumbles, falls flat.

He leaves to speak with others.

I could rip my tongue out, for the good it does me tonight.
